Quick question - for those of you having trouble with my Maristella Plus save crashing, have you tried loading it since today’s (9/5/19) patch? I noticed in the patch notes it said, “Fixed various save load issues when loading specific households.” Just curious if maybe that fixed the loading household issues for Maristella? Let me know!

If not, in a week or so I will start working on a new Maristella Plus save (basically just placing all of the lots and families again in a new save) - let me know if you would be interested in testing it.

I’d also love to know if anyone tried repairing their game and if that worked or not. Thanks!!

Hi Jenba .. is there any future plans to upload the Maristella Plus (Save File) with the households?. I love the households from Blythe Harbour but like the concept of updated worlds :) thanks Katie

Hi Katie! Most of the households in the Newlyn Hills/Blythe Harbor save were created by other Simmers. Some of them were created specifically for certain lots. With Maristella and moving forward, I wanted to be able to move families around, make things more diverse, and just generally have more control over the population in my save. Also some of those Simmers aren’t active anymore, and while I doubt many of them would mind me reusing their families, I don’t know how they would feel about me updating them for Seasons, moving them around, etc. It would be daunting to track them all down and ask for permission. Anyway, those are just some of the reasons I am no longer using those families. I hope that makes sense! 

If there are any that you want to include in Maristella Plus or any future saves, you could always load my Newlyn Hills save, save the families you want to your Library, and then place them in the Maristella save.

Calico Community Pool V2 (updated for Seasons)

This is an updated version of my Calico Community Pool (one of my lots for Maristella). I added the following items from Seasons (so you will need that pack for this version):

Sprinklers

Kiddie Pool

Water Balloon Bucket

Swingset (replacing the Jungle Gym)

Otherwise it’s pretty much the same as the original version, so you can visit that post for more info!

**If you don’t want to install it using the Tray files, you can also find it in the Gallery under #jenba and Origin ID silrosse.

NOTE: This updated version of the pool lot is NOT included in the Maristella Plus save file - you will have to download the tray files or grab it from the Gallery and place it if you want to replace the old version in Maristella. I didn’t want Maristella to require Seasons so that’s why I didn’t update the save file.

OMG the Spice Festival finally cleared! I had to play almost the full festival cycle for it to come around again. My Sim got invited to the festival and accepted. I made sure they stayed until the very end, and the festival disappeared as it should! Phew. Now to make sure everything else in the save looks fine, and then I can update the download link.

I’m not sure if this is what caused it (since people seem to have issues with festivals anyway), but I replaced the Waterside Warble lot in San Myshuno with my Llama Inferno lot, perhaps while the Spice Festival was going on. I noticed when i clicked on the Spice Festival info button that the location was Llama Inferno. So if I replaced the “destination” lot while the festival was in progress, maybe that’s why it got stuck. Just a theory.

Another Maristella Update

There was a Spice Festival glitch in the Maristella save where it just wouldn’t disappear (thank you to @simplyplumbob for letting me know about it and for helping to troubleshoot!) but I was able to fix it (at least for now - hopefully it won’t happen again!). I’ve updated the file in the download post.

If you don’t care about the Spice Festival lasting forever, feel free to continue playing in the old save file! You may be able to clear it by visiting the festival next time it pops up (it’s every two weeks on a Friday) and then staying until the very end. 

Let me know if you have any trouble with the updated file! It just replaced the old one so the download link is the same. Thank you! :)

NOTE: Even though the download link is the same, the save file is different, so it won’t overwrite the previous one if you’ve already started playing in it. It has a date of 6/23/18 and is titled “Maristella Plus 2″. As always, feel free to rename the save!

Spice Festival Glitch in Maristella

The download link for Maristella Plus has been removed temporarily while I try to figure out a glitch with the Spice Festival not leaving San Myshuno. I’ll post an update when it’s back up. Very sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey Jenba!!! Congrats on finally finishing Maristella!! Could you upload the individual final lots to the gallery whenever you get a chance? I think some of the later ones are missing. ^_^

Hi Anon! Thanks! :) All of the missing lots are now on the Gallery, as well as all of the households. I’m hoping to do the individual download posts with tray files for them tomorrow. :)

Hey Jen! I wanted to download your save file, but I’m afraid because I don’t have all the stuff packs. Will the objects just not appear? Or will they be replaced with some off the wall item?

Hi Anon! I’m not 100% sure but I think objects just don’t show up if you don’t have the required pack. I don’t think they get replaced with other objects. I could be wrong, though.
