Tagged aka Distraction from Work

I’ve been tagged by rectangleshorts! Good thing because I was looking for a distraction from theater homework. Yay! My second one lol not related to football! 

1. Where do you plan to be 5 years from now?

I know it will be hard to do, but hopefully I'll be working in movies with a masters degree from UCLA in directing. I hope to have already worked on some big production as maybe an assistant at least. I hope to have connections with people and all so that I can get closer to writing and directing my own work. Also by now I hope to have gone to Europe and met some of my favorite football players. Maybe even establish some sort of friendship... 2. What’s your favorite language that you don’t speak?

I dunno I like a lot! Something slavic probably because I think it's badass. Greek is also super cool, me thinks. 3. What’s your fondest memory?

Going to see Chelsea FC play Inter Milan at the Rose Bowl. I got me and my family in for free haha. 4. You’ve suddenly acquired one skill that you never had before. What is it?

Playing piano like an Asian boss. Seriously. I love classical grand piano sounds.  I have all this music printed out from old video games of my childhood and I wish to impress people with my playing.  5. Which era from the past is your favorite? Why?

80's for sure. I was highly influenced by my dad's choice of music, movies, etc and all of this from the 80's.  I still am today. It was a big part of my childhood and well, still is! Life seemed so simple then, and cool too.  6. If you had the ability to jump into a movie and have that plot/character/story/whatever be your life, which movie would you choose?

Err, that's tough! Off the top of my head I cannot. Probably Big Fat Liar (lol right?) because it's in my line of (hopefully) work. Getting run over by a celeb and having them steal your movie idea, only for it to work out in the end for you? Yes please. Not to mention the whole, I'm 14 and wrote an awesome movie. Yes please. 7. Are you at peace with your mortality?

Nope. Not at all. I'm scared of death and it's been on my mind lately.  8. If you could make any fictional character the opposite sex and have that be the new canon, who would you change and why?

I dunno. Never really thought of changing stories. I would probably change E from Entourage to be a girl because E is the voice of reason and well, I think it's over due to have a female character that isn't the typical "girl friend of guy who acts like a tomboy and then oh my gosh dates her best guy friend who was her best friend since they were 4!!!!!" I'm sick of that. Can't there be a girl who is JUST friends and never once thought about her guy friend in a romantic way? Idk I guess that's how I am haha. 9. Ideal place you’d like to settle down in?

If it's not a populated place in Europe like London or Rome, then I want a nice scenic village or town with a great view of some river valley by a mountain or forest. Like this which is in Slovenia 10. You’re suddenly an amazing artist, and you can put something from your mind onto paper (or photoshop, idk), with perfect accuracy. What’s the first thing you’ll draw?

Fan art lol. Or mostly cool cartoon/comic book like drawings of myself or football players? Haha! Awesome robots too? I DUNNO. Most likely fan arts of the most underrated characters that I love so much. 11. A child pops out of you (or your potential significant other if you’re not a uterus bearer) right now. What are you going to name it?

 If it's a girl, I was thinking Carmen (San Diego) or Carmela because of a dream I had lol. I've always wanted a cool nickname so I'd probably give my kid some weird ass name like Tank  haha. Maybe just name the child after some character like from a cartoon or game I like.

Do you read fan fics?  Nope. I don't really have time to read for fun.

Would you rather watch your favorite team play or your favorite band perform?  Team, easy. I've seen my "favorite band" play and lol well they broke up and weren't that popular to begin with! 

A player from your favorite team which you never really liked?  Daniel Sturridge and uhm......well for now haha

Who’s your favorite manager of all time and why?  That's tough. I know I'm not allowed to say AVB haha. Uhm probably Slaven Bilic. He's a total badass. I just totally loved him in the 2008 Euro. I would say Jergen Klinsmann, but I thought it was really stupid for him to go to manage USMNT. Marco van Basten is just so great too.

If you have $1000, what will you do with it?  Buy toys, cds, jerseys and give the bulk of it to my parents

If you could live wherever you want, where would it be and why?  Tough one! I like all kinds of places! Little places with awesome views are great. Maybe Spain because it resembles California in weather haha.

If you have 30 seconds alone with your favorite player, what would you say to him and who would the player be?  Well, I dunno who, but I guess Juan Mata or Cristian Chivu. (which ever one it'd be) I'd give them a business card with my info like phone number or tumblr or twitter haha idk!! Maybe some Mexican candy attached to the card haha. That, or do a 30 second long handshake.

1. Your favourite match ever? This is hard. I'll do two of my favorite club matches. My favorite Chivas match is either the Chivas v. Boca 2005 match for Copa Libertadores or the Apertura 2006 final - Chivas v. Toluca! WE WON OUR 11th TITLE (': I have many other favorite matches, and they're national team matches; however, you asked for one );

2. Top 3 strikers: at this moment or all-time top 3 strikers? Gee. At this moment, I'd say: Mario Gomez, Karim Benzema, and a young bb - Samed Yesil. I think Samed Yesil has a bright future ahead of him. But, the top strikers I grew up watching are: Jared Borgetti, Jose Saturnino Cardozo, and Francisco Palencia.

3. What you like most about the club you support? I support two football clubs with all of my heart - Chivas and OL. Gosh, there's not one thing I like the most. You know, they're teams with a lot of history, but it doesn't stop there. They continue to improve and innovate. They're teams that never give up. They play with so much passion. They serve their wide array of fans and never let us down. And, I cannot forget about the beautiful colors and every other little thing that defines these teams. It's the little things that attracted me to these two teams in the first place. I mean, how can I forget about the supporters behind Chivas and OL. They make these football clubs, too. I love their chants, colours, dedication, beauty, and magic ~

4. Do you play football? Not anymore. I play football in the living room with my brother lol lol I played football at a very young age. I played for a couple of years and stopped when we moved. Idk. I was never great. . . . So, I never went back to playing. I miss it, though. It was always fun and intense. Plus, it was a good work out.

5. What other sports do you like? I really enjoy watching basketball. Ugh, it's awesome. I love how fast-paced it is. I like volleyball, too. It's a recent thing, and I can attribute that to my close friend, who played volleyball.

6. Best memory (personal or sports related, as u like)? Mon Dieu, Nina. HARD QUESTION! omg. I wish I could discuss my best memories lol. Idk. There are so many awesome moments. For example: my fifteenth birthday party (Quinceañera), the first time I met my grandpa, the first time I met my mom's side of the family, my first football match, the time I met some of the mexican bbs, my first concert, when my baby brother was born, etc. Idk. I honestly can't choose one thing. There are too many good memories. I like to think everything that happens is good. Even if it didn't seem or feel good at that moment in time, it helped define me as a person. So, yeah. Some other good memories: the moments my tumblr friends have helped me stay strong. <3 Gee. idk. so many awesome memories. No lie. 

7. Which countries have you visited? Just Mexico. *sad face* Nina, you know how much I want to visit your beautiful country. Oh, gosh. )':

8. Your plans for summer? I plan on working *IF I FIND A JOB* and traveling somewhere. Idk where yet, but I know I might go to Mexico, Santa Barbara (again), or even Seattle. mais je sais pas ): One thing I know for sure, though, is the fact that I'll be staying up late to watch movies every single day. Yup. lol

9. How would you feel about a perv-united reunion? SO MANY EMOTIONS, NINA. IF THIS HAPPENED, WOW. Honestly. This MUST happen. Now that you mention it, it must happen. OKAY? Yeah. It will happen one day. Pervs and OL sisters ~ holla ~

10. Share an unpopular opinion: I think Hugo Lloris is the best goalie in the world, not Iker Casillas. Sorry, but Hugo saves our asses every fucking game. lol. We would be in so much more trouble without him. Can I share another one? I think many girls, some of which I follow, are just fangirls and should not call themselves football fans because they're not. Sheesh.
