Our cat has thyroid troubles, and the vet gave us these little orange pills to give her with this weird syringe contraption.

And omg, getting Marje wrapped in a towel and still enough to feel comfortable handling her face is hard enough in itself! But getting her mouth open?! Poor kitty, it’s all so undignified for the old coot, it took me like 20 minutes of cooing and cuddling before I felt okay enough to try put the pill in.

And it’s all so expensive! If she sticks with the pills its over £300 a year, but there’s an operation to remove the thyroid for £500... but we don’t have that kind of cash to throw around.

I don’t know what we’re going to do :( but I hate trying to medicate her, she looks so sad!
