… It is not knowledge that the world needs. It is not eloquent speech. It is not soldierly courage and achievement. It is not amusement and pleasure. More than anything beside, the world needs healing. More than anyone else, it calls out for the physician.
There are diseases worse and deeper than bodily maladies. There are stings of conscience. There is deadness of heart. There are errors of life. There is the blindness that cannot see God’s presence, and the deafness to His voice and the paralysis of our energies in His service. There is the feverish fire of passion that consumes the soul. There is the hideous inner leprosy that defiles all the nature.
Many around me are stricken with these fatal sicknesses. May Jesus accomplish His sweet works of recovery, not only through His written Word and His almighty Spirit, but through me, His living and loving disciple….

Christian Witch Banishing Spell
For those completing their summer cleaning before the solstice.
Material
Dragon’s Blood Incense (optional)
Potato Vine Crown (check notes)
Tea Light
Broom or Vulture Feather (check notes)
Procedure
Perform any pre-spell rituals you desire. (grounding, meditation, prayer, etc.)
Light the Dragon’s Blood Incense (Personal Protection)
My inner dragon stalks her quarters and snarls at even the passing wind in protection of her treasures. She goes before me in her strength to route out the enemies.(Optional)
The Bible makes the power granted in me through Christ abundantly clear. Mark 16:18 proclaims: And these signs will accompany those who do trust: in my name they will drive out demons, speak with new tongues, not be injured if they handle snakes or drink poison, and heal the sick by laying hands on them.
I have immense power from my God that no demon is allowed to question.
Take the Potato Vine Crown and place it on head (Personal Protection)
This Potato Vine can do me no harm unless God desires it. So it is with all the demonic and malevolent.
Light Tea Light by the window
My God has given me authority over you, so in Jesus’ name I demand that all malevolent spirits in this household and around my person leave! This Tea Light will guide you to your exit.
Use the Broom or Vulture Feather to sweep the room, as one would with a broom, in order to dislodge and dispose of any lingering malevolent spirits

Notes
The first section with the dragon was simply because I like dragons. There really was no other reason. You can easily cut it and nothing would change.
If you liked this spell but are not comfortable using the Christian references you can change the verse to a generic discussion of how we as humans have conquered nature so that even the dangerous bows to our will. I am a Christian, so this is written from a Christian perspective. I do not mind you using it and theologically anyone is allowed to rebuke demon’s in Jesus’ name regardless of whether or not they consider themselves Christian. Also, let me make this very clear, if you have a dangerous presence in your house that is causing you physical or psychological harm you are allowed to banish it with any means necessary. We should not be talking about appropriation in dangerous situations.
Potato Vine is poisonous, as I mentioned in one of my Real Witches of Orange County posts. The whole point is that God has granted us so much power that we are even able to consume poison unphased. (Please do not test this on me. Don’t test God. That is bad theology. If you would like to discuss that I will tell you, just don’t consume this plant!!!) Anyway, you could substitute with any other poisonous plant, particularly ones from the nightshade family. If you cannot find a vine to weave into a crown, try placing flowers in a headpiece or simply in your hair in a fancy way.
I am in love with my Vulture Feather. It is currently my favorite tool. I will never part with that feather. But I understand that it is my special tool. If you have a broom or any other cleansing/cleaning tool it can work too. This was my favorite part of the spell. I really didn’t feel like there was a lot of negative energy in my room, but this one act made it feel extra sterile. If this bothers you you may want to move the air in your place or invite the Holy Spirit to descend heavily on your room.
You can take the crown, dry it out, and use it as a ward. Say “May this crown remind my enemies whose son/daughter/offspring I am.”
