Saying that misogynistic bs to your 40 year old daughter who just got over constantly thinking she was going to die during delivery just like her mom who she never got to have in her life…
Did NOT like the implication here that he thinks Hannah doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing. Though I do think this is just foreshadowing that dasher will never get to the point of having to figure out how to platonically co parent a newborn since they will admit to each other (and themselves) they they aren’t just two friends having a baby :)

Am I being too biased if I say I thought Hannah’s dad was out of line playing the victim nearly the whole episode as if he wasn’t the one who instigated the argument in the first place (after nearly hitting Dean with the cart)???
Like this was one time where Dean wasn’t actually rude lol
I did LOVE seeing Hannah know exactly where Dean was coming from, although even that and a genuine apology wasn’t enough because he still included that as a way to justify his nasty comment to Hannah… like woah you really said that to your daughter?!?
and I really didn’t like the way he was implying Hannah couldn’t raise her baby on her own when Lizzy was just trying to do the same thing a few months ago? With even less money and now she’s living with her dad? He even made that weird comment telling Hannah to ask Lizzy how she’s doing instead of him as if Hannah’s the one who unfairly cut her off. I mean I’m glad his purpose was to point out how Dean’s in love with her but he was being pretty awful to Hannah the whole episode and she JUST got back to being herself! He rubbed me the wrong way, I’ll be curious about when we see him again and what the dynamic will be at that point, if Lizzy’s involved etc.
(I’m soooo happy to dive into any and all family dynamics involving dasher! and I really love all the complexities involved)
