Double Decker Heroes 2--Mark and Antonio/Rock Bison DRUNK
“Isn’t that Mark?” Kirill asked. Doug looked over, “Oh yeah, it is Mark.” He said with a smile. Kotetsu was confused, “Who?” He inquired. “Mark Belgar.” Doug clarified. “You know him?” Barnaby asked. “He was one of my former partners, he’s a constable like Kirill.” Doug said. Tori grinned. “Get out!” Vicky exclaimed. “You could say he’s pretty chill but not very good at his job. Ah, isn’t that Antonio?” Doug said. “What?” Kotetsu asked, he looked and there was Antonio sitting there drinking. “Oh yeah.” But then Kotetsu’s face fell when the drunken men were blabbing about how lame Kotetsu was and how he never was the popular hero. “Oh dear lord.” Tori scoffed. “My God, he’s in too deep.” Vicky said. Doug stifled his laugh while saying, “Is he really like this?” He asked. “…Yeah, could you excuse me for a moment? Thank you.” Kotetsu said through grit teeth and stormed over. “You better make sure your partner doesn’t deck Rock Bison.” Doug warned. “Relax, he’s not going to engage in a fight against him…I hope.” Barnaby retorted. “Oh boy.” Kirill groaned. “I wish I had popcorn.” Tori said with a giggle. “Tori!” snapped Vicky. “What? This feels like a great show.” Tori said defensively. “And don’t get me started on Kotetsu’s view of being a hero, this low life thinks he’s so special ‘cause he’s a hero!” Antonio said in a drunken tone. Mark was totally drunk as he was laughing hard, “HA, you don’t say.” He remarked. “We were troublemakers but we reformed however he was always such a goody goody two shoes. He didn’t want to use his powers when we were in a fight. Luckily, we don’t do that.” Antonio admitted in his state from drinking a lot. Mark’s grin faltered while he looked apprehensive. “By the way, about Kotetsu….Is he tall, tan and good looking with a beard shaped like cats?” He asked. Antonio slammed his fist on the table laughing, “YES! Ha, that stupid beard! I swear it’s stenciled or something…wait, how did you know that?” He asked nervously. Mark pointed behind with an anxious grin. “Um, bruh. He’s standing right behind you and he looks pissed.” He said. The color drained from Antonio’s face. “I’m sorry, what?” He asked. He turned and saw Kotetsu glaring at him. “AH, KOTETSU! Hey man, wha--what’s up?” Antonio chirped. “So I’m a lowlife huh…Like that wasn’t the first time you called me that.” Kotetsu drawled darkly. Antonio holds his hands up, “Oh c’mon, I was just kidding.” He squeaked. “Yeah sure, you’re lucky we’re grown up because if I was still the same guy like I was a long time ago; I would’ve whooped your ass into the next county. By the way, Mark, he actually called me lowlife twice when I was framed and he was brainwashed.” Kotetsu clarified. Mark nodded with a smile, “Figures, you guys knew each other since high school?” He asked. “Pretty much, he was the more of the tough guy.” Kotetsu said. Mark looked over with a grin so wide that it looked like it would break in half, “Oh really?” He asked. “Hey, who helped you out when Tomoe was in trouble? ME!” Antonio protested. “Yeah, yeah. I haven’t forgotten.” Kotetsu said. “Who’s Tomoe?” Mark asked. “My wife.” Kotetsu said with a slight wounded smile. “Oh yeah? Where is she?” Mark teased. “She…passed away.” Kotetsu stated sadly. Mark realized he was being a jerk. “Whoops, sorry about that.” He apologized. “It’s OK.” Kotetsu replied.
