hey! this is chance & here’s this week’s prompt. pick one of your ocs. how would they react if they suddenly appeared right next to you, in the modern world? what would happen?

Hey there! Thanks for the ask. ^^

The first one that comes to mind is Mark from the House of Moons series. I swear eventually I'll talk about the others.

Now, this story takes place in modern day Earth, but y'know, with magic. So he would be adjusting pretty well until he realized he couldn't use his magic. Which might take a while as he's not super reliant on it. I think his first reaction would be major jealousy that hearing aids last longer and have a cooler looking charger than he would have.

But over all, he'd be pretty chill. He'd be curious about a non magical world (which is different than people not believing magic exists while it very much does), and he wouldn't panic until he realized that it was time for class or time for a meal with his friends.

Mark knows a ton about goth culture even though he's not goth himself. He just wears a ton of black and thinks it makes him cool he's not entirely wrong. Although he's not a part of the goth community and never will be, he has a deep respect for them.

It's such a random little thing about him, but if someone is complaining about him being goth because he wears so much black, he will go into TED talk mode and educate the person.
