Mocha: what is your favorite kind of date with your f/o(s)?

"I mentioned before that we like to do drive ins, but a less often kind of date that's really fun is going to Build a Bear and making them together. It gets kinda pricey so we only do it for special occasions, and usually pair it with a movie at home afterwards."

Bubble tea: do you ever like to surprise each other? What kinds of surprises?

"Well, food is always one. Especially baking, I can't bake but she can, and she makes really good cookies from scratch. Other than that, she knows I'm not a fan of surprises, but I can still surprise her with little gifts coming home from work. Usually some sort of sweet from the store she's been wanting, that I can pick up before getting home."

That's awesome mark !! So she found you the job, does she do things like that a lot for you? Like, organizing things for you/generally trying to make life better/easier for ya? :0 (selfship-o-war)

“Well, yeah! She and Nate sorta bullied me into therapy in the first place, she’s always easy to wake up when I can’t sleep and need the company.. not to mention she takes care of the kids and Cassidy while I work, and cooks and cleans at home.. She’s definitely made it easier than when I was working nightshifts and was barely able to eat or, hell, sleep some days..”

Hi Mark! ^^ You and Annie seem to do such a good job trading off housework and, well, work work- Which of you likes to cook more? Or would either of you rather go out to eat than cook something at home?

“Hey there bub, it’s good seeing you here.. Well, that’s where things are a little, er, funny? I like to cook more, it’s more of a fun hobby turned job for me, but Annie tends to be the one cooking more in the house to make sure we eat after long days at the diner.. Though, sometimes, we’d much rather just go grab some fast food and be lazy then heat up the house during summer.”

Hey Schmidt! Does work ever get in the way of you and your partner?? How do they feel about your job?? (Selfship-o-war)

“Work makes it a little.. harder now that it’s a day shift instead of happening while she’s asleep. It makes dates and hanging out a challenge when I only have one day off, but also.. I’ve never been more relaxed with a job! No creepy shadows and night terrors (mostly), just the occasional Karen of a customer and dinner rush..

“And Annie? She’s the one that helped me get this job! I was struggling to find work after Freddy’s burned down, especially with my anxiety.. But she and my therapist found this little diner in town that’s not too far from home, I love working there. My coworkers are awesome, my boss is so understanding, and I just love getting to cook for people!”
