Highly Suspect – Music Hall of Williamsburg – August 2, 2024

Brooklyn rock outfit Highly Suspect dropped their fifth LP, As Above, So Below, in July and then hit the road. And on Friday night, they got the weekend started and closed out their tour in a big way, playing the new album in full at an intimate, sold-out hometown show at Music Hall of Williamsburg.

However, Recovered Memory Therapy, Multiple Personalities, Hypnosis; is all the same stuff still going on the Castlewood Treatment Center and Harmony Place Monterey, with Mark Schwartz and Lori Galperin in 2017. They use the Internal Family Systems Therapy Model (founded by Richard Schwartz) in an attempt to convince patients that it is safe treatment and has empirical data to support it. Nothing could be further from the truth. Dozens of families have been torn apart and 4 lawsuits have been filed that we know about. I bet there are more.
