DM: Well, getting back to Snowden, he lifted the veil on a massive surveillance program run by the US government that appears to infringe on personal liberties. Would you say what Snowden did was a good thing? DR MARK WHITACRE: I’m not sure I want to comment on that. I don’t know all the details. I really don’t. I’m really close to the government.
