My first ever crime novel reading attempt was "Sleepyhead" for Mark Billingham,i liked enough to read another/ the second book in the sequel "Scaredy cat". Tom Thorne is a distinctive character, Mark billingham managed to create a very well developed character, however that affected the rest of the characters in which they are not given enough introduction or in depth role, and that applies on both novels.
