You wanna know why I believe Supergirl is bombing at the box office?
Because I just watched it with a friend of mine and I thought it was really fucking good.
It’s not because it’s a female superhero movie or because it’s woman led or because it’s “woke feminist propaganda” like the red pill guzzling dude bros keep claiming.
It’s definitely not from poor casting, acting, special effects, costumes, or the overall script.
I am 1000% percent placing the blame on the marketing and advertising team on this.
I didn’t even know the movie was out until 2 days ago. Neither did anyone else I know irl
I think everyone did a beautiful job on this movie, especially in the way they portrayed grief and how grieving can be rough and ugly.
I personally give it a solid 9.5/10
