It’s time to say what we said 20 years ago when a president’s character was revealed for what it was.
My response to Galli’s Editorial.
In 2016 I was severely troubled by the choice before us at the ballot box. We had a choice between a man with various personality flaws, esp so with regards to his views of and behaviors towards women, and a woman calling half the country deplorable while calling for govt-funded killing of infants who knowningly lied and who covered up the truth of Benghazi.
I was looking for Christian leaders to speak up on what to do. Weighing the choices before us. Dr. Albert Mohler of SBTS, wouldn’t openly state what to do, other than he saying he could not vote for Trump in good conscience.
I thought about it for awhile, that I would obstain from voting. But as the day drew closer I saw the lies, coverups and open push for more abortions by the Democrats.
Since 2016, there is a clear Leftist/Socialist/Communist push by the Democratic Party. There is open dialog and agendas to take away the 2ndAmendment, the killing on infants upto and during birth, even after birth. There’s push to “help” transgender children get hormone-blockers without parental approval, children will eventually be taken away from parents if they don’t affirm trans children’s self-identity. The Democratic Party is going down a dark road and wants to drag the country with it.
Trump is an imperfect political stalwart to it. Galli advocates for removing a sitting president for immorality reasons. The sad truth is, No candidate has or even can meet that standard; except Christ himself. Washington owned slaves, Lincoln wanted to prolong slavery to avoid war. Kennedy had an affair, Bush was a liar, as was Clinton, as was Obama, as is Trump and Hillary.
Who are we to pick from if these are the candidates before us? Galli doesn’t offer a solution. Do we avoid voting? Do we allow open communist, open proabortionists to run our country to use tax dollars to kill infants? Do we allow the Democrats to move ever closer to a socialist/Communist government; Communism which has killed more than 150 million people by conservative estimates?
Galli give us a solution to your moral standard for the presidency. What do we do?
