Missing Couple Constance Marten and Mark Gordon Arrested, Search for Baby Continues

Constance Marten and Mark Gordon, a couple who went missing with their newborn baby, have been arrested by police in Scotland. The search for their baby, who is just three weeks old, continues. The couple were reported missing on February 25th, after they failed to show up for a scheduled meeting with social services. Concerns were raised for the welfare of their baby, who requires urgent medical attention. Streaming at kxlu.com Dr. Randall Collins is an American sociologist who has been influential in both his teaching and writing. He has taught in many notable universities around the world and his academic works have been translated into various languages. Collins is currently Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a leading contemporary social theorist whose areas of expertise include the macro-historical sociology of political and economic change; micro-sociology, including face-to-face interaction; and the sociology of intellectuals and social conflict. He has devoted much of his career and research to study society, how is it created and destroyed through emotional behaviors of human beings. He is considered to be one of the leading non-Marxist conflict theorists in the United States, and served as the president of the American Sociological Association from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Collins' first position in academia was at his alma mater, University of California Berkeley followed by many other universities including the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by the University of California - San Diego, the University of Virginia, and then University of California-Riverside, finally arriving at his current position at the University of Pennsylvania. He took intermittent breaks from academia, as a novelist, and as a freelance scholar. He has also been a visiting professor at Chicago, Harvard, and Cambridge, as well as various schools in Europe, Japan, and China. Collins has published almost one hundred articles since finishing his undergraduate education. He has also written and contributed to several books with a range of topics such as the discovery of society to the sociology of marriage and family life. Dr. Collins grew up in a slew of different cities and countries, his father being a diplomat (and possible spy) with the US State Department during the Cold War. They lived in Germany immediately following World War II, and later in Moscow, among other places such as Uruguay. About Mohsen Namjoo Namjoo was born in 1976 in Torbat-e Jam, a small town in northeastern Iran. Between the end of 1997 and beginning of 1998, Namjoo holds his first two concerts on the theme “Modern Combination of Poetry and Music of Iran.” His debut album “Toranj” was officially published in Iran in 2007. Namjoo has also composed soundtracks for film and theater. Since his arrival to the U.S. in 2011, Namjoo has been touring the world to sold out concerts at prestigious halls such as Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco; Conservatorio Sala Verdi, Milan, Italy; Disney Hall and Royce Hall, Los Angeles and many more. Priyanka Chopra and Madhuri Dixit Developing Comedy Series on ABC

ABC is developing a comedy series about a former Bollywood star executive produced by Priyanka Chopra, Variety has learned exclusively.

The currently untitled single-camera series would follow a former Bollywood star who settles down in the suburbs of America with her bi-cultural family and tries to bring her colorful lifestyle to an otherwise dull town. The series is based on the real life of Madhuri Dixit, who will also executive produce.

Sri Rao, a Bollywood writer and a writer for shows like “General Hospital: Night Shift,” will pen the pilot and executive produce, as will Dixit’s husband, Sriram Nene. Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper will executive produce through the Mark Gordon Company, which currently produces “Ray Donovan,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Quantico,” among many other shows. ABC Studios will produce.

Chopra, herself a Bollywood star, currently stars on “Quantico,” which is going into its third season. She is repped by WME and Trinity Ventures. Rao is repped by Kleinberg Lange Cuddy & Carlo.
