not exactly where i need to be (and yet it seems so close) is a fic where adult richie inhabits his tween body and tween richie inhabits his adult body. the author navigates the difficulties this premise presents pretty well and the story is so KIND to the characters in a way canon never is. it feels like that scene in rocketman where old elton gets to hug his young self and tells him it’s ok, yknow? it’s really lovely. also the author has a buzzfeed unsolved it/reddie au that THEY JUST FINISHED and i’m excited to catch up bc it fucks
the jenga dream date stitchy consistently characterizes richie and eddie SO well and in this specific one it’s all about them reliving their teen years as adults just visiting derry and doing right by each other this time ;_;
37 things pennywise does while waiting for richie and eddie to finish going at it lmao i think this one speaks for itself
feet on the ground, head in the sky ao3 user peggyolson PLEASE write something again this left me burning. objectively nothing steamy happens. it’s long distance pining. i fall asleep thinking about it to this day.
