Markus x Praising S/O
Markus gets praise quite often from his peers and members of Jericho. He’s always reminded how thankful his people are for him and it makes him feel delighted. Even though he loves the love from his peers, he appreciates your love even more. After a long day, he can’t wait to go home and be with you.
Markus has a hard time taking compliments. He believes that he’s just doing what’s right and doesn’t deserve praise. However, he constantly showers you in compliments ever chance he gets.
“Sweetie, I really am grateful for you, you know that right?”
“You’re the best partner I could ask for. I don’t know what I would do without you.”
He never wants you to go a day without you knowing how important you are to him. And you never let him go a night without showering him in love and affection. When he takes a compliment, his face is obviously flushed but he tries to keep his expression subdued. You usually get a smile from him or a kiss on the forehead.
“That’s really nice of you, love. I’m glad that I’m so special to you.”
He’s honestly infatuated with you and can’t get enough of your words. He loves how beautifully you speak about him. It fills him with warmth and he couldn’t imagine feeling this way with anyone else. You were truly one of a kind in his heart.
He loves every one of your compliments. The long ones, the short ones, the ones with tons of thought, and the cheesy corny ones. All of them are equally valued to him and he holds all of your words close to his heart. He sees them as a kind of art. He paints, and you use your words to show beauty
He can be a bit cheesy with his if it isn’t a serious moment. But his serious and heartfelt compliments speak a thousands words to you.
