So if we’re right in assuming this is Rio’s grandmother or possibly mother, right? She’s played by Marlene Forte. 

Marlene Forte played Amy Sosa’s (played by America Ferrera) mother in Superstore.

Marlene’s tv husband on superstore was Ron Sosa, played by Tony Plana.

Tony Plana played Miguel Galindo’s faux-father (so I'm calling it for purposes of this post) on Mayans M.C.

Which means...........

Rio, Amy, and Miguel Galindo are.... I don’t know because my brain hurts at this point....

but I’m going to say all tied to the Galindo Cartel.
