Who is strict?: Neither, really. The only time they’re strict is when it’s to annoy the other. Kid want to decorate their room in maroon and gold? Suddenly Calista has issue with too much time and money spent on a room that will only be used regularly for a couple more years. However, when Calista concedes to let the kid have a drum set, Marlene is suddenly much keener on quiet times that extend from about 5pm-12pm.Who is more lenient?: Again, they’re equally lenient (until puberty and then they both go berserk that they’ve raised the kid to be too much of a free spirit).Who wakes up first to check the crying baby?: Calista.Who teaches them ‘the birds and the bees?: They bring Uncle Remus over to have a very informative, clinical discussion with the kid.What does the one parent do that makes the other mad?: Calista hates coming home to find the McKinnon brothers babysitting. The house is usually a wreck, and the kid has contracted a sugar high that could last until the following morning.Who is first to cry or get emotional on ’big days’?: Marlene.Who is most likely to embarrass their kid?: Both of them, tbh. ESPECIALLY when it comes to pee-wee Quidditch games. Matching outfits, rehearsed chants, the works.Public, Private, or Home schooled education?: Public. Neither are equipped to teach, and they know that they’ll get the private school experience when they go off to Hogwarts.
