"What's going on over there?" Mary frowned, glancing over to where three students stood outside of Madame Puddifoot's, a boy shouting at a girl.
Marlene turned and immediately saw Doris, backing away from the boy in a panic. She headed over immediately.
"Hey, what's going on here", She held her hand out, stepping in front of Doris.
"The crazy bitch was following us and tried to kiss me!"
The boy's girlfriend stood behind him with her arms folded, looking around uncomfortably.
"No, he likes me, Marls, he does", Doris shook her head, tears forming from her eyes.
Marlene smiled at Doris before turning back to the boy, "Why don't you get out of here?"
"Ugh", the boy shrugged, glancing to his girlfriend, "Whatever."
"You alright?" Marlene guided Doris to one of the benches around the town.
"We went on a date last term, and he said he likes me and now he's here with some ugly girl!"
Doris laid her head against Marlene's shoulder. Marlene stroked her hair comfortingly.
"Men suck", Marlene commented.
Doris glanced up to her, "Is Sirius single?"
"No", Marlene quickly answered, "Hey, you want to head back to school... find an empty classroom", Marlene grinned.
Doris laughed, "My heart just got broken."
"Yeah", Marlene shrugged, "What better way to get over that git?"
"Okay", Doris giggled, grabbing Marlene's hand.
