Cul-de-sac diner bustled with life during the warm early afternoon, filled with happy chatter, pleasant patrons, and the wonderful aroma of coffee and fresh food. Libby was wedged into a corner booth, her view out the window obstructed by a neon sign that kept flashing the word "open" to those outside. Libby loved when she had more time to enjoy one of her lunch breaks, not needing to rush to eat her food and enjoying the time when she didn't need to be at work. Libby was scanning the diner's menu when she heard the bell above the diner's door chime, signaling that another customer was coming in. A smile formed on her face when she saw the familiar face, one of her hands moving up to wave to the other. "Hey! I'm over here. I'm so glad you could make it."
