THE ROAD TO LYNDA BARRY, PART 1: A long time ago, I had a T-shirt with a Lynda Barry drawing of a poodle on it. It was my favorite shirt because the dog was clearly furious, with a *mohawk - all shaky with spittle flying off it’s gums (*back then, a mohawk was the hairdo equivalent of telling your grandma to fuck off).
