hello!! my name is kae, and this definitely isn’t a new blog but it is me giving simblr another shot now that i’ve got a new laptop (that can actually run the sims), so i thought i’d make a little pinned post to introduce myself! on to the fun facts ;

from appaloosa plains, gemma grew up with a mom and a dad, calvin and maisy riffin. gemma was an accidental baby, a baby made between a girl new to young adulthood and a man who had lost his own parents at a tender age and who both may have missed some of the more important lessons in life. but they preferred to call gemma their surprise, their present, their gift, and she never once felt that she wasn’t loved. the struggle came though in the lack of jobs, the lack of money, and gemma has not seen her family even once since she went to school just after her teen birthday .

NAME :   gemma riffin . AESTHETIC : with a mix of country and boho fashion, gemma leans towards clothes that get the job done without much fuss ( when given the choice ) . MBTI :  intp ; the logician .   ALIGNMENT  :  neutral good . ENNEAGRAM :  type two ; the giver . TEMPERMENT  :  phlegmatic . CHARACTER  CONNECTIONS .  

SEBASTIAN :  gemma didn’t know him very well before bridgeport, but would definitely call him a close friend now. bash was the first person to take things seriously when they arrived in bridgeport, and single handedly rescued the rest from the listlessness this move brought on. she considers him impressive, trustworthy, and with all the makings of a lifelong friend. OLIVER :  gemma thinks that oliver is a frankly amazing friend, plain and simple. they’re very thoughtful, and gemma always tries to be the same in turn. she learned sign language out of stack of books for him - not taught as one of the core classes at school, and whose dumb idea was that - and, since bridgeport, has made sure that the others know enough to get by. ALICE : alice can be … a lot, some days, but she has never once made gemma feel as if she does not belong somewhere - which is a lot more than can be said about some of the girls back at school. though going to bridgeport was pretty high on her worst nightmare list, the fact that she had alice at her side made it a lot more bearable.

SEBASTIAN : alice and bash have been best friends for as long as she can remember, and she hopes that they will be forever. they grew up in each other’s pockets, were lucky enough to end up in the same school, in the same designated area, and now this? she doesn’t know what she would do without him, and she is nowhere near ready to find out. OLIVER : alice doesn’t really know how to talk to oliver - will call them a friend, but conversations seem to fall flat. is it because she doesn’t know anything more than the basics of sign language? she’s not much of a book learner, but now she’ll have to try even harder, because there are no books to learn from. hopefully she can bridge the gap? GEMMA :  alice would definitely call gemma a close friend - girls have to stick together, right? though there are a lot of differences between them, alice knows that she can count on gemma when the going gets tough. of the two of them, gemma is definitely the one with a more level head on her shoulders, but alice likes to think that she balances her out in other ways.

from aurora skies, oliver grew up with a dad, a mom, and an older brother : jessie, wanda, and evan clark. there are many ways in which he was exactly what their family needed, and many ways in which he failed. he did not have his father’s green thumb, and he was a hard pregnancy - hard enough that it killed his mother’s dreams of a big family, though they never let him know how much his addition to the family ruined things. still, he could tell in little mannerisms, and it was something of a blessing when he was shipped off to the government run school at his teen birthday .

NAME :   oliver clark . AESTHETIC :  with a mix of hipster and basics fashion, ollie leans towards a few tried and true outfits in muted colors ( when given the choice ) . MBTI :  istj ; the logistician .   ALIGNMENT  :  lawful neutral . ENNEAGRAM :   type four ; the romantic . TEMPERMENT  :  melancholic . ALICE :  oliver doesn’t think much of alice - they’re friends, of course, if only by proximity, but they just seem to have nothing in common. he hopes that they will be able to bond in this new circumstance better than they did in bridgeport ; he can admit that one was his fault, at least, his own bitter feelings and inability to get over himself driving a wedge between them. SEBASTIAN :  bash always seems to be all too willing to get into oliver’s business, but they know that bash means well, and on the good days, that is enough. on the bad days, they bristle beneath his ready attention, unsure what the agenda behind his actions are. and then they feel awful, because they know bash is a good guy beneath all the meddling and chatter. GEMMA :  gemma was the first person to learn sign language for oliver, and they’ve been smitten ever since. while they’ve never had any intention of sharing their feelings with gemma, it is enough to have the opportunity to admire her from afar. oliver thinks that she is very capable, thoughtful, and probably so far out of his league that he can’t comprehend it.

from riverblossom hills, bash grew up with two moms, a dad, and a sister. the son of patricia wan, gabe and alexandra o'mackey ; the brother of jules o'mackey. he was childhood friends with alice shikibu - their moms, best friends since before they were born. growing up in such an eco-friendly family, bash spent the several stages of his life learning all of the ways that things could be better. but there was no saving the planet by the point that he was born, and at his teen birthday he left home just like everyone else, only seeing his family a few more times before the story begins .

NAME :   sebastian o’mackey . AESTHETIC :  with a mix of streetwear and rocker fashion, bash leans towards darker colors with an edgier aesthetic ( when given the choice ) . ALICE :  bash has had a crush on alice ever since they were little kids, but he would never risk their friendship for something as uncertain as romance. more than a crush though, she is his rock in a storm ridden harbor, his safe space, his one tie to home as circumstance has dragged them farther and farther from what they once expected out of life. OLIVER :  bash makes it his personal job to cheer ollie up when he’s down in the dumps, and he thinks that this says a lot about their friendship. oliver is the friend that he can go to when he really needs to vent - an excellent listener, a great friend, and bash tries to pay that back in kind whenever he has the chance. his methods may not always be the best, but he’s trying. GEMMA : bash didn’t know gemma very well before they made it to their designated area at bridgeport, but he knows for a fact that he wouldn’t know what to do without her now. if alice is his rock, gemma is his right hand - the one who always knows the next step, the one who is always there to help him puzzle things through. her support is everything to him.

On the third Love Day since his wife’s death, Rusty brought a rose to her grave and sat down to talk to her for a while. He still felt guilty over his autonomous flirting with Rachelle earlier in the day, but what was bothering him the most was how natural it’d felt.
