However SAM and Quentius do have shipping partners. But they still have no desire for romantic things or sexual things. SAM is the only one that has sex with his partner and he is just curious with being an AI.)

Maron Hinom Past

2151: Maron Hinom is born as Sur’Kesh Ilano Talat Hinom Maron, she is one of the few Salarian females produced in this lifetime of the Hinom family. She is like other eggs imprinted on the Dalatrass of the clan.

2160 - Age 9: Maron quickly realises that she is isolated and prepared for the role as a political leader rather than military or science. It is something Maron greatly despises. She doesn’t want to go into politics and starts developing ways to fool the other salarians. For a human it might seem young but Maron is actually in her teenage years by Salarian standards.

2165 - Age 14: Maron successfully developed a program that made her disguise herself as male, making it possible for her to get into STG and become an explosive expert. Her entire genetic material is changed due to the program and not even scanners can see through it. She spent almost half her life developing it.

2167 - Age 16: Maron, unlike other Salarians, did grow conscious about the krogan and the genophage, maybe due to her female mind and way of seeing things. She tried to argue with them that they should find a solution that wouldn’t result in stillbirths. Since that might trigger something, and more like not having them get the eggs fertilized at all. However, her male team members didn’t agree with her on many other things. When she found out they tried to modify the genophage even more, she saw no other solution than to blow up the place. Maron blows up one of the STG bases on Sur’Kesh and flees the planet.

2176 - Age 25: Maron fleeing from the Salarian Union and her former work in STG is stuck on the Citadel, she still uses her program to hide as a male Salarian. She also has other means of hiding, such as a tactical cloak. During one rough day, she almost gets caught by STG agents, but she gets saved by the Krogan Karnesh, who tells them that the Shadow Broker really wants her for specific reasons. He knew of course that this was a lie, he just wanted Maron to be safe. For Karnesh it was a no brainer, he knew exactly how it felt like to be hunted and trapped. Maron spents most of her time on Karnesh ship and doesn’t leave it, not even for food. She relies heavily on Karnesh to keep her safe.

2183 - 2186:

Nothing really happened in the past years before the Reaper War started. Maron gets bonded to Karnesh since they spent almost everyday together - correction - they spent everyday together. Some might think that this is not in any way a love relationship. It isn’t. People would be fooled to think so, Karnesh has trouble getting in any emotional state and Maron was raised to see any sort of love as inconvenient. But they did form a bond out of Maron needing protection. Maron would always state that Karnesh comes very close to her in terms of feeling wanted. They never sleep with each other but they spend a lot of time together. In some situations Maron would even go out, cloaked, with Karnesh to see the world.
