5 places to visit in Berlin as if you lived there!
How often do we take a trip and want to stay and live for a while? How much do we want to know the habits of those who live there?
Since my way of approaching places is always very intimate and discovering new interactions, I'm going to publish the 5 places that will make you feel like a citizen of Berlin. After living there for many years and visiting them at least 50 times say it is time to share this experience.

1.Cafe Am Kotti Adalbertstraße 96B, 10999 Berlin, Germania
It's a sort of mix of cafes, bars and space for live music . It has a real Kneipe vibe, frequented by students and digital nomads, usually you can find some inconvenient, but nobody ever bothered me. It's an unpretentious place that goes from coffee to beer as the day progresses. The wifi is decent and there’s usually at least a few people working here at any given time, but try not take over an entire table to yourself.
I love to have a good espresso coffee, a milchckaffee or spend evenings with friends drinking beers, the cost is accessible to anyone and the musical selection is always at the top.
2.Schankwirtschaft Laidak Boddinstraße 42/43, 12053 Berlin, Germania
Absolutely one of the most loved place in Berlin. The prices fit for everyone, you can drink really good beer and cocktails , and the staff is always kind! You can sit in no smokers area or smokers area and work, read, take relax or meet new interesting people for hours! Be considerate and be willing to share. The place is full of books, you can really find anything. The wifi is really good, most of the time I had good wifi and never had problem.I love to drink teas that are always very large and vary with fresh ingradients and good quality leaves at a very low price.
3.Pequod Books Selchower Str. 33, 12049 Berlin, Germania
The book shop I loved most in Berlin and beyond! Alvaro the owner has become a great friend, that every time I'm in that area I have to say hello, and most of the time I spend hours having interesting conversations on all kinds of topics. A person with refined taste, who can always advise you the right reading!
Whatever book you do not find in your mother language anywhere else, try here at Pequod Books. Enjoy the sofa, Pecorino the pappmaché cat and the good consulting of the owners.
Owner literally knows every book in his store. a pure dream as customer.
4.Maroush Adalbertstraße 93, 10999 Berlin, Germania
If you're wondering if you should go there because the interior is not very promising, you should have no doubt! The food is delicious! Shawarma and Falafel's dishes are the best. Large portion, delicious garlic sauce, and the best pickled radish. The place and the food are authentic and you won't be disappointed. Give them a quick but tasty lunch break. Unique dishes where they serve various types of meat, hummus, salad, potatoes accompanied by excellent pita. Despite the apparent chaos fast service, low prices.
5.RISA Chicken Schönhauser Allee 45, 10435 Berlin, Germania
RISA is a place to visit in Berlin for a typical chicken lover, accepts both cash and credit cards, the staff speaks German, English and Arabic and the place is clean and tidy.
Prices are adequate and the menu is easily numbered in case you are not good with words. I think this is the ultimate place to taste a cuisine that is generally only offered by big chains like KFC, but here we are on another level, Risa is the fast food I love the most about Berlin.
There are many other places I will tell you about, but if you are planning a trip to Berlin, my advice is don't follow the preformatted tourist guides, Berlin is a city that needs to be discovered in a personal way, walk, stop, talk to other people, enjoy life and your instinct, and try one of these places, you won't regret it.
