You’re Australian!? Hello from across the Tasman! I’m here in Auckland, New Zealand ^.^ And yes, I do too. They just get silly after a while. Toriyama simplified it a bit by using a scale of 1-10 when talking about Beerus and Whis, but he also stated himself that they’re simply a means for the villains to underestimate the heroes in most cases.

POWER LEVELS ARE BULLSHIT, they made all shitty no wonder that actually DBZ should end already by the Frieza Saga XD
Well as a Trunks role player I respectively disagree ;) But I think the main reason why they don’t matter is that they’re not static. It’s not just a numbers game. They fluctuate depending on the fighters skills and techniques, and fights are quite often decided on a fighters skill, not power.
