Marshfield Fair 2013
Did you know the Marshfield Fair is going on right now through August 25th? The Marshfield Fair has a vast history and began many, many years ago. It has continued to grow throughout the years. The schedule changes every day but ongoing daily features include the Colonial House and Garden Exhibit, the Magic Theater State, Frontier Land and the Arts Center. Upcoming events include Children’s Day, Fantastic Fridays, and the North River Blues Festival.
Fair admission is $10 per person. Children 6 and under are free. The gates are open every day through August 25th from 12pm-10pm. Visit www.marshfieldfair.org for more information and a detailed schedule of daily events.
The Great River Race is Back!
Saturday, July 20th the North and South River Water Association will be hosting the 23rd annual Great River Race. The race allows all levels to participate with non-motorized vehicles such as canoes, kayaks, etc. The vehicles can be piloted by people of all ages.
The race course spans 7.5 miles on the North River and awards are given to the top three winners in each category! Come out and show your skills on the water and bring the whole family for fun and activities. Registration begins at 8:30am and the race starts at 10am.
