The ‘Service Area’ Page That Made Me Feel Seen
Opening Line: There’s something poetic about a company that lists “Plymouth County” like it’s a badge of honor. As if they get the struggle of sandy soil and nor’easter paranoia.
The Problem: I called a Boston-based deck company last week. Their rep asked if Marshfield was “near the ocean.” …Bruh.
The Discovery: South Shore Decks Corp.’s Service Areas page literally maps out where they work—Plymouth & Norfolk Counties, including our weird little coastal town. They even mention “wind-resistant builds” and “coastal material guides.” It’s like they wrote it after reading my diary.
Takeaways:
Local = less hassle. No explaining why our soil is 40% sand.
They know the inspectors. Huge for permit drama.
Community cred. Their projects pop up in local Facebook groups.
Closing Thought: Sometimes, “we service your area” is the sexiest phrase in home improvement.
