I observe Pest’s condition and the man has turned blue from the cold. The worms are gone as well, most likely eaten by Pest. Even at the corner of the box has been used as a toilet.

I did not expect Pest to even have the energy to talk! I guess the rumour about the tiny Adachi being extra durable is real. Huh, amazing. It would be fun to own it.

I flick the box over, purposely on the side where Pest would fall into the mess it made in the corner of the box. Pest is already smelly and dirty so why not mess around a bit more before it’s bath.

I plug the sink and turn on the cold water to fill the basin. I’m not touching that dirty thing with my hands nor am I helping it clean itself. The thing is cleaning itself up and then the box once it’s done.

just to let you know, chewing on the glass of a light bulb, while it's not like eating diamond dust, is still like eating thousands upon thousands of tiny little blades that's when crushed and when swallowed can cause thousands of cuts in the esophagus and other parts causing internal bleeding which can very well lead to death. So unless thats that Narukami wants, it's not a good idea to feed light bulbs to Jun. Make him eat dirt instead literally?

Actually, it’s safe to eat glass as long as it’s been chewed to dust. The glass is thin enough to be grinded down with teeth and eaten safely, People have done it before and a guy even ate wine glasses.

It’s been a while and the noise that would usually come from the box within the fridge has quiet down. In fact, it’s been quiet for a few days. I wondered if the thing has died and didn’t even bother to check on it.

Only when I happen to hear Pest’s voice once more, did my curiosity peak. I open the fridge before my nose is assulted by a horrid smell.

Wow, now I’m really curious what happened.

I take out the box and put it in the counter. I carefully open it like I’m unwrapping a present and I have no admit, what I see inside really surprised me.

Pleasently surprised to boot.

Truly a gift to me.
