I think I would have enjoyed the object-passing more if it hadn’t been so obviously a set up for the lightsaber passing at the very end. (Also!! Leia’s lightsaber should have been a different color, like green, so it would have obvious who had which saber. I think Ben ended up with Luke’s, but it would have been more poetic if he had his mom’s tbh)

The plot stuff was definitely very heavy-handed and way too much exposition. Palpatine needed to talk like 10 minutes less and also they should have cut the entire desert planet sith-knife hunting thing.
IMHO Lando should have joined the rebel base at the beginning of the movie and he’s the one that sends the gang to the Death Star coordinates to find the sith pathfinder. Boom, saved us all an unnecessary 45 minutes of sitting in a theater.
