in your respectable opinion on the subject of domestic zukka, who is more likely to horde ridiculous/eclectic kitchen equipment (ie. one juicer for fruit and one for veggies, 15 different specific kinds of forks, a soda stream, etc)
sokka!! :D
i like to think that zuko can't cook beyond using a microwave or a kettle/tea pot meanwhile sokka's out here with three blenders (one of them is hand-held) and colour-coded chopping boards
My roommates are complaining about my cats litter box, but they'll only let me have one, in an unventilated closet for two adult male cats and the smell does build up in there due to the heat; is there anyway to make one box work or is this an ultimately harmful endeavor ?
GV here.
Appropriate litterbox hygiene would dictate that there should be 3 litterboxes for 2 cats. If this is not possible and the smell is noticeable to you, then you will have to get more aggressive about cleaning, because the smell will be way more offensive to your kitties. Even if you had 3 litterboxes, you should never be able to smell them. You'll need to clean the litterbox multiple times daily, ensure there is better ventilation to the room (i.e. leaving the door open), and use soap/water and a dilute bleach solution to wash and clean the litterbox at least once weekly.
hi! this is for the person asking for raisetips ; i’ve always gone in with something along the lines of ‘the scope of my responsibilities has exceeded my pay rates, i feel i do a good deal of essential work/ i’m of value to the team/ i have more seniority/responsibilities than others in my wage bracket’ and working with that. i also recommend starting the convo with your boss somberly such as ‘ i need to speak to you... privately’ than adding ‘it’s nothing bad tho!’ so it seems like good news 😂
i’ve been reading your drivers diners and dumb asses fic and i’ve literally had to take breaks to relieve my awkwardness-by-proxy feelings 😂 you’re an amazing writer and i cant wait for the next chapter (i read the new one this morning)❤️❤️❤️❤️
hehehe yes! the awkwardness! i really went hard on that this chapter, didn’t? oh sweet, sweet baby sokka...i’m thankful he was drunk enough that he probably didn’t realize JUST HOW awkward that whole interaction was.
i’m so happy you enjoyed it! i’m really excited to get started on the next chapter. while chapter 7 was focused on the *zukka* chapter 8 is going to be focused on the *blukka*, aka sokka’s blossoming relationship with this mysterious duckling profile picture.
thanks so much for taking the time to send this! i appreciate it so, so much :)

hello friend! i love your positivity, and i’m wondering, if you’re comfortable speaking on it, if you had any advice on cutting down on drinking. i’ve been working extremely long, hard work hours and it doesn’t leave me a lot of energy or motivation to make meals but i also drink somewhat daily and i’m trying to be better about it! but since it’s so easy to open some beers and a lot of effort to make food, i feel like it’s becoming a habit i can’t shake. any advice ?
So I think you should definitely reach out to support groups for this sort of thing as well as speaking to your doctor.
I know it takes a lot of effort to make food and less effort to drink, but food is important because a diet of alcohol is definitely not nutritional (but you probably already know this).
You could try meal prepping; especially things like soups and stews because it consists of tossing everything into one pot and letting it sit there. I recommend dhals (basically boiled beans stewed into tomatoes and onions and seasoned, once you get the hang of it you can make up simpler, yet tasty recipes that you can just pull a bowl from the larger pot for the rest of the week). I know meal prepping helps me eat right and not eat out, as cooking can be a bit of a struggle for me. For dinner you can also make rice as that is something that keeps for a good while in the fridge, with veggies and chicken. I like to portion things out into enough containers for me to reheat throughout the week.
