this is gonna look so embarrassing sandwiched between the run of the mill MCYT and deltarune posts but i don't care! >:) i need to fill out a study guide for one of my classes and i'm using speech dictation for ease of access (and... due to phantom paws but shhh.) and there's a vocabulary section. i'm realizing now how affirming it is to, like... read definitions of words aloud and know what i'm talking about? like, yeah! i'm that silly talking dog who knows things! i'm cringe but i am free. - martha (martha speaks)

WOW this is gonna be so embarrassing but i don’t care. i definitely am kin with martha, as in.. the talking dog from the PBS show. well, not exactly the kids show?? i’m actually from a slightly canon divergent version of the book, but like… STILL!!!

i don’t recognize any of the cast but i know i was this beagle/lab mix (maybe some pitbull?). i was a stray but i got taken in and at some point ate alphabet soup and well.. the rest is history. i remember i did have some kind of role to play on educating kids, more-so with public appearances and not cartoons, haha. i mean i don’t doubt my owners would use me as an opportunity to educate children. i mean what else are you supposed to do with a literal talking dog!!!

ANYWHO i’m gonna make homemade alphabet soup cause i can’t eat the canned stuff and i’m so so so excited. also i would love to hear from others who are kin with recently obscure, albeit iconic characters!! those are always the sweetest people :)
