hey everybody! it’s been a while since my last post but anyway I’m back

this is a short post, just for recommending some french music I really like and that has helped me improved my french level; you can use this songs to learn new vocabulary :)

most of this music is old music because I don’t know, I like 80′s music most of the time (in english, spanish and also in french)

my favorite Disney song in french! | day 4 of 100 days challenge for langblrs

heeey everybody! we’re in day 4 and this implies singing a Disney song three times. This was a really good way to end the day because I really enjoy this song in my native language (spanish) and it sounds really good in french!! I have to admit I sang this song more than three times today haha, I loved the french version of the song!

french idioms part 1 | day 3 of 100 days challenge for langblrs

heyyy, today it’s the third day so I learned two new idioms in french and now I’m going to share with you these idioms, again it’s almost midnight but anyway here they are, hope you enjoy it!

1. Tourner au vinaigre “to turn to vinegar”

Meaning: When a situation “turns to vinegar”, it means it’s getting out control.

Example: -Ça va tourner au vinaigre si tu pleures

2. En faire tout un fromage “to make a whole cheese out of it”

Meaning: When someone makes a tumult about something that in reality isn’t that important

Example: -Je n’ai aucun sens pratique, quelquefois j’en fais tout un fromage

translating a song! | day 5 of 100 days challenge for langblrs

heyyyy today it’s day 5: translate a song so I will translate one song called Tree Hugger, this appears in a movie called Juno which is about a teenager who gets pregnant :) I was going to translate another song but my level it’s basic and I didn’t know most of the words so... I chose this one

I hope you enjoy it! the song is really curious and kinda funny. I’ll put the video in this post so you can hear it

memorizing a poem | day 6 of 100 days challenge for langblrs

hiii everybody

it’s late here in Peru and today I officially started my french classes, but anyway, today’s activity is to memorize a poem

I think it shouldn’t be about just memorizing, I think it’s also about feeling the poem; that’s why I chose the poem you are going to read now: it expresses a lot of emotions

49: do you have any language pet peeves? yes! well, I hate when people say “Oh, so you speak (x language), how can I say (any phrase) in (x language)” and it’s like hm, i’m learning, i didn’t say i know how to speak that language.

50: is there a language that you’ve tried to learn but could never stick with it or just weren’t interested? yes, I was interested in learning quechua and I still think it’s a really beautiful and interesting language but I just couldn’t stick with it, there weren’t enough resources or motivation
