HEADCANON TIME:

Stiles has been working all day and night at the precinct trying to finish up a vital case. Lydia's been stuck at home on Christmas break from school not knowing what to do with herself besides baking and online Christmas shopping. On the third night of Stiles working later than usual, Lydia gets fed up and packs a festive picnic. Stiles is sitting at his desk with his head in his hands trying to tie up the case when Lydia bursts through the door of his office with a basket filled to the brim with food and a bottle of red she's been saving. "Hungry?" she asks him playfully. Shocked, Stiles nods and smiles, mouth watering at the sight of food. Before she unpacks the basket, Lydia jumps on her husband's lap and goes in for a kiss, but it's heavier than they both expected and they fall to the ground in a state of giggles and euphoria as they continue kissing.
