What an honor to have been a part of something that resonated so deeply with so many and is equally relevant today as it was then. It's impossible to articulate. It's equally impossible to express the gratitude I have for the gifts this show has given me. I am too emotional hence, stymied. But, I can say Thank You. Super Short Reviews: Summer TV part one

100 Code (WGNAmerica) -- aired originally in Sweden in 2015 - its a greusome police mystery with the dude from the Swedish Dragon tattoo movies and ... Dominic Monaghan?  Weird.

Reverie (NBC) -- put a check mark in every diversity box. And I’m always happy to see Dennis Haysbert, and Sendhil Ramauthy.  But this show makes NO SENSE.

Dietland (AMC) -- I’m loving this.  Its a mix of black comedy and hard truth.  Marti Noxon stikes again!!!  A plus plus.

Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger (Freefrom) -- Different back story than the comic, and the action is moved to New Orleans.  Great addition to the Marvel canon for that age group.

Pose (FX) -- ooooooooooo honey.  You know i love the 80s.  Fabulous clothes, fabulous music, fabulous performances from this largely transgender cast.  Over the top one moment, honest and breaking your heart the next.  We expect nothing less from the mastery of Ryan Murphy.

Condor (Audience) -- I never read the book or saw the movie - so I cant compare - but this is fun.  Perfect binge watching material, and HELLO Brendan Fraser.   His second great performance this year.  I’m a fan.  Whats a clever hashtag for the return of Brendan Fraser?  

American Woman (Paramount) -- I can’t tell if this is supposed to be a comedy or not.  Alicia Silverstone tries her best to bring real emotion to a set that looks like a cut out from Boogie Nights.  I think i would like it a lot more if it were funny.

Yellowstone (Paramount) -- man oh man, Taylor Sheridan, how bout it?!  And this cast is way too great -- Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Cole Hauser...  and no one is like-able!  i don’t know who’s side to root for and i love it!

Love Is_  (OWN) -- there’s something strangely addictive about this show considering how slow it moves.  It may just be that William Catlett is so likeable I need to stick around long enough to see his character get a win.  Based loosely on the real life relationship of Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil. 

Take Two (ABC) -- A perfect example of why network tv ratings are plummeting. F minus minus.

Why do we have to apologize for creating a piece of art that shows women behaving like men have behaved towards anybody who agresses on them forever!
