I only watched the first 2 seasons but they are so good together and supportive, I don't know why I didn't ship them sooner. God, how foolish I was to ship her with the british psychologist. Hey Almea, so I thought of something with the newest RWBY ep. Amity Arena, where they get Huntsmen Licenses, issued from Atlas Academy. I know in a World of Remnant ep, it's said that Huntsmen operate outside councils and jurisdiction. But that same WoR also said Atlas doesn't follow that as well. I'm wondering if the bad of this season is somehow involving Atlas using the Huntsmen license to control them. I know it's a long shot, but it crossed my mind. What do you think?

I can definitely see where you’re coming from and it could be interesting to see if that comes into play. It’s kind of interesting to me that their licenses still have the same “Class C” restrictions that their student licenses did. Hm, unless those are like a limitation of what level of missions they’re allowed to take or something and they need to earn points to get to a higher level.

However, I think the wording from WoR suggests there are independent huntsmen with licenses from Atlas, but they like. Brainwash their students into joining the military during their four years at school, so there aren’t very many independent huntsmen.

RWBY+JNR are also in this weird situation where they’re technically not in the military, but they’re working with them. Maybe it’s less of the licenses themselves actually being bad, but the people of Mantle not trusting them because of their association with the military and that’s something they struggle with because they’re all Good Kids.

But there’s still a part of me that feels like. A little unsatisfied? That their licenses say they were issued from Atlas. idk, the sentimental part of me is just like. Beacon was Their Place and in some ways it feels like Atlas is trying to steal them for itself.

After watching the Weiss Short again, I found that there is one Major flaw about it. It's the fact that I can't experience it for the first time ever again. It was just So Good that I want it to be all new to me all over again... If that makes sense.

That’s something I deal with for RWBY in general. I think that’s why I like reactions on youtube - you can live vicariously through other people’s first times lol.
