I couldn’t help myself but to draw the Oliretta wedding outfits
Another thing I love about Oliretta is how they were both convinced they were cursed to be failures until they met and became each other's lucky charms.
@maxwellendowed asked me to draw Martin Short as Jack Frost as a pole dancer and I finally finished it. So enjoy!
Being in this fandom is crazy because sometimes you remember things like when Martin Short wrote a musical about Martin Short with the same guys who co-wrote Which of the Pickwick..., and in that musical Martin Short died and people wanted to replace him with Meryl Streep, and it's a real song.
I'm feeling like Michael Scott during the fire drill, but also, was the cat ever really in the bag?
I am happy is all I'm saying
So you're telling me Martyl are spending their Valentines' Day weekend in New York together? *narrows eyes*
My deranged ship headcanon is that John Hoffman got himself a license to actually officiate a marriage and, seeing as they were already dressed for it, asked Martyl at the shoot if they wanted to do an actual off-camera wedding ceremony, which they did, so the whole cast now shares this sweet secret that the day they shot My Best Friend's Wedding was actually Meryl and Martin's impromptu wedding day.
Just imagine the cast snickering good-naturedly when they think John got their names wrong when he says they've come together to celebrate Meryl and Martin, until they notice that the bride and groom aren't laughing along because they're actually committed to this, and then they realize that it's for real. Also the cameras aren't rolling. And the vows aren't what they are in the script. And suddenly Steve is actually a best man.
