Do you make someone paint the paintings or you have them extracted? It's pain waiting your Sim to paint the right one! Lol

I agree- that’s a pain! ;) I did it the quick and easy way - I plopped Jools’ lot full of paintings down (on a different lot), grabbed some paintings I thought would look nice, put them on a room that is basically a wall, and saved the room to my library. So I’ve just been pulling them off that wall as I decorate. Unfortunately the frames won’t carry over when I upload it, but it’s easy enough to just click on them and frame them again.

Thank you, martymor! :) The doors were placed on diagonal walls with MOO enabled, and then I deleted the walls. I learned that trick from Jools!

I figured there wasn’t anything available like that.  Since I use SweetFX I can’t take screenshots the normal way and have to pretty much screencap instead so the entire interface shows.  Oh well, thanks for responding!

How do you make them pose? Have you started creating poses for The Sims 4?

I did make the pose, yeah--honestly, the process is a bit like pulling teeth right now. They only function as animation replacements, so you  have to replace a specific interaction in the game with your pose for it to work, and positioning is an absolute nightmare. This and This is how you do it, though.

I liked him better with the base game skin. He looks like a different person now and you are losing his personality.

Thanks for your input. I still haven't decided whether or not I'll keep it, because I'm not 100% sold on how it looks outside the face, but I personally like how it makes him look more youthful, something really problematic with him currently because he looks 100% identical to his Young Adult self. It's a tough call, though--I just know I edit RiP to be more bright and cartoony, and HFTH to be more gritty, and making some in-game stylistic changes may help. But, like I said... not 100% sure yet. (And this skin overlay actually makes the least amount of changes compared to others I tested.)

Hmm, which would Walt pick? Hopefully his grandpa who seems to have all the sense in the family.

Unfortunately, Walter's nobler instincts may inhibit some of his ability to be logical. :( It's a really tough situation, which he'll explain pretty soon. I feel sorry for the dude, it's a crappy place I've put him in.

The thought did cross my mind, but I dunno! Honestly, I didn't plan a lick of what happened, didn't stage a darn thing--not Susie looking angrily back at the fire, much less starting the fire in the first place... Or Alex with the stove, twice. It definitely is quite the call-back to Fern reading that article, though--and who knows, maybe if a magic expansion comes out someday, the knack will resurface completely... ;)

Poor things! I'll make sure to bring the bleach when I come back. ;) I imagine the next patch will help though, getting Fern a new job will make me a much happier camper. ^-^

… How? I thought that there was like 200 hours to the main plot itself, not including all the side missions?!

Oh gosh, there's definitely not 200 hours to the main missions, and wagering that I have 174 hours played (and that includes leaving it open overnight a few times), 200 hours of content is really stretching it. I did almost everything except find all the mosaic pieces, because $#*& I am not searching all of Thedas for 5 stinking tiles. I also didn't complete all the operations (not sure if you actually can) and didn't complete all the requisitions for every zone because those are MY RESOURCES. *hoards everything*

But I did everything else--100% explored all the zones, killed all the dragons, collected all the shards, completed every quest I found, did all the astrariums, etc etc. Granted, I did this playthrough on "normal", next one I'll do on Hard and that'll probably make it much more difficult to power through.

Note: playing as a Fire+Rift mage makes the game very, very easy. XD

It's still fall here, but we had a very cold weather week ago. I still haven't seen the true fall colors and you already have snow. I can see it on the mountains above my town sometimes. :)

Where we live usually gets hit by snow a few days before or after Halloween, but I know people who live further south than us that have already had snow for a while--probably a lot to do with elevation and stuff. It's been 25F/ -4C pretty consistently the last week though, there's just been barely any precipitation except a few flurries in the morning a few days ago, but nothing has stuck until now.

Enjoy those fall colors while you have them! They last way, way too short, here. It's a week max and them pppbbttt they all fall off the trees.
