maybe as a simpler version, the ability could just prevent the enemy from using healing held items?

My original idea, and the gimmick behind the old fungus zombie fakemon this is a hard reboot of, was that any pokemon could evolve into it using a held item generated by its ability or move. However, as interesting as that is, it doesn’t have any actual application in battle so I’m not sure I want to do that after all.

I really like the idea of it fucking with your berries/healing items, that’s an angle I never considered. Toadsgool’s ability should be broken to offset it being generally weak, that much I’m certain about.
