Okay. I've recently gotten really into the Marvel X-Factor comics (I'm at 204 :D), and y'know want to throw them into my Marvel Sims neighbourhood, and maybe even start posting screenshots of that. My problem is custom content. I'd love it if I could get Jamie, Layla and Shatterstar's eye tattoos. I'd do it in a heartbeat, same with clothes. My biggest problem, which seems to be the problem with everything gaming I try to do; I'm on a Mac. And yes, I realise that Macs aren't for gaming, or weren't until recently. I sacrificed gaming for uni work. There's no real stand-alone software for CC on a Mac. I just want to know if there's any possibility of making Sims 3 CC on the mac easily. I'm on Mountain lion, so 10.7 or .8 can't remember. I will not partition my Mac, or run a windows emulator, and can't afford to pay anything. I know about Mono and running CTU and making the right file type with Aorta via Gimp etc etc but it just seems so complex, especially when you get into installing the framework stuff needed for making packages. What I'm basically asking is if someone can explain to me how to make stuff with Mac-native software. I know there's tutorials, one specifically referring to Aorta and Gimp even, but I get lost when it delves into the CTU stuff. I just need a step-by-step, y'know? Blegh. I've spent all afternoon trying to work this. Bed now.
