I loved tolerate it but I have to admit that she must leaves dean. I know that she loves him but we have to know when the love is over and dean doesn't love her anymore, it's kinda of toxic the way he's treating her. She deserves better. Love herself first. I wanted to make it clear that this wasn't a healthy situation, or even a romantic love story. The mindset and all the sometimes contrarian emotions that come with it— sorrow, exhaustion, glimpse of happiness, denying, accepting, and understanding you have to go (while, surely, making it very related to the song and adding the lyrics trapped with the narrative). At some point you have to put yourself first, even if it equals to leaving. He isn't in love with her anymore and he's treating her as such, yet she keep making excuses and living in delusion. It's time to go! The first heart you have to take care of is your own.
The ending is so raw and sad because, just like in the song, she stays.
