PLUS ULTRA! SWITCH welcomes Áine, one of our wonderful guest artists! This will be Áine’s first zine, and she’s most excited to see all the high quality art from our wonderful contributors put together and in print!
One of Áine’s favourite characters is Ochako, who she likes because of the character design as well as her quirk: gravity manipulation—which Áine is a big fan of. As she learned more about her, she appreciated Ochako’s enthusiastic personality and her key role in Midoriya's self-confidence. With her motivation (providing for her parents) as well as reassuring Midoriya only to break down on the phone call with her parents after her fight with Bakugou, Áine’s love for Ochako grew! Ochako’s strength and grit makes her an inspiring character for Áine.
We’re so proud of Áine; she recently was accepted at NYU, her top choice college! She plans to study film and television there, and hopes to create animations involving ideas from her writing. Áine has several original stories she’s been working on as a personal project, developing characters and worldbuilding for her own enjoyment—we think she’s off to an awesome start!
