Something for fun!!!! My interpretations of the main cast of “The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter”, a book by Theodora Goss!! I love this book and the two that follow so much. All of the characters are so fun and interesting with their own distinct personalities that I tried to portray in their looks!! 

Mary is very prim and proper, bred to be a lady of society so she would most likely be in the modern fashion of the time. I know she would probably be in more practical styles/colors but I wanted to have some fun with her. 

Diana would have Mary’s old dresses, but that would be the only put together part of her. She would still have her wild hair and most likely have runs in her stockings. 

Beatrice is an elegant Italian woman, but a believer in the rational dress movement...I put her in something loose with her signature gloves. Also, since she’s immune to poisons I thought it would be a fun little nod to the times to have her in the shade of green that was made with Arsenic! 

Catherine is practical and prefers clothing that’s easy to move in. She probably has dresses she’s stolen from Mary, but I see her more often mixing male and female articles of clothing. 

Justine is tall and therefore probably has a hard time finding clothes that fit, especially if she too borrows Mary’s old clothes. Shirtwaists and skirts are her best option, although the skirts probably still don’t touch the floor. Most of the time you will find her covered in paint~ 

I love these girls and tried really hard to make their personalities visible in their outfits!! Hope you all like them too~ (and read the books, they’re really good)
