Yeah? He's the oldest kid with a whole bunch of (half) siblings! His brothers are named James/Jacob (from Ya'aqov, depending on translation), Joses/Joseph, (from Yosef), Simon, and Jude/Judah/Judas (from Yehudah), and he also had sisters who aren't named in the texts.

They're mentioned in Matthew 13:55 and Mark 6:3, and apparently despite the origin texts spefically using a version of the word brothers that means biological brothers with an emphasis on the same mother, Catholicism decided at some point to REALLY lean into the whole "God cucks Joseph" thing and insist that the siblinghood is symbolic instead and that Mary never had any kids with her actual husband?

It's wild. I had no idea it wasn't common knowledge in all predominantly christian countries that Jesus had a bunch of non-divine younger siblings.
