of course it’s going to look great! It does look...
@marybegone - Backstitching is when an outline is added to the cross stitch - think of it as the black outline in a coloring book, the black lines are just done AFTER the coloring, lol. The lines are sewn “backwards”, hence the name “backstitching” and they sit on top of the cross-stitches. For this project the backstitching will be in black but it can be in any color. :D

Last couple of days, I’ve been feeling like this...
My current reason for picking it back up is that, right now, I can say that I finished every new project I started during 2018. Even thought there are two smallish projects I want to start soon, I kind of want to end the year on that note.
Since I have over a dozen WIPs still from years previous (some much much previous) it’s not like I have a shortage of things to work on. Plus I’m pretty sure this is going to look great with the winter coat I got last year (because I am for sure keeping this one)

you frogged Minty…?!
Ah, nope! I can see where some confusion might come in, but this is the top half of the project while Minty was on the bottom half of the project. This mint frog is Minty’s little sibling, lol. In total, this pattern has 11 frogs: 2 mint, 3 dark blue, 2 green, 2 pink, 1 yellow, 1 orange. I would take a pic of the whole thing but my scroll frame has it so that you either sew or staple the fabric to the bias tape attached to the bars so it’s a tad cumbersome to remove the whole thing.
