miss mahiru how i love you. i'll do this one first then the other one in my inbox since it's a bit harder to come up with v3 characters for me.
favorite thing about them: i like that she's down to earth. i think she could be a really great protagonist and, like hajime, it would be nice to see her slowly get over her biases of the other characters. i like the role she fills, wish she stuck around longer but at the same time i can't really see the story progressing another way. i guess that's what 2x2 is for.
least favorite thing about them: i don't think she enables hiyoko that much in canon if you really look at it. yes, she doesn't call her out, but hiyoko is definitely the more clingy one trying to get mahiru's attention. however, i think if she said something about hiyoko's behaviour in private, it would help hiyoko grow more.
favorite line: it's "what the heck is going on around here" u___u some of the characters' memes i have baked into my head. like 'bullying a girl not cool hajime' is probably my favorite line from komaeda. it's just funny... however her rebuttal was clever. "your reasoning is out of focus!"
brOTP: ibuki, maybe? twilight syndrome girls get along, but i saw hiyoko having the best relationship with ibuki in that group, then mikan, then mahiru. i like it when mahiru takes pictures of hamsters for gundham in one of the bonus modes, and i always liked the mahiru having a crush on hajime plotline in FTEs.
OTP: mahiyoko of course! though i sometimes have trouble conceiving of characters romantically, so i can't decide if i like them as friends or girlfriends. but hiyoko would definitely drag her around to frozen yogurt and other such places if they dated. hiyoko's gummy bear explosion BLUE PINK YELLOW frozen yogurt next to mahiru's modest original tart with chocolate chips. cinema.
nOTP: i cannot see her ending up with peko or fuyuhiko. also, natsumi...
random headcanon: hmm, i don't know if she dyes her hair since it's such a bright color, but i think she could be mixed race. her hair isn't really the color to be found in red hair, which is more orange, but she doesn't seem the type to dye her hair to stand out, so i think it could be natural! i think she could be japanese and irish, especially since her mother travels the world to the point that's how her parents even met.
unpopular opinion: i'm actually really happy parts of the fandom really like her since i think she's one of the characters people would dismiss as just 'boring'.
song i associate with them: i don't have a good song for her, i'll have to think of one.
favorite picture of them: i'm just picking their sprites or cgs to narrow it down since there's always a ton of amazing fanart. i think i like this one the most, tsundere mahiru is funny.
