A Review of Opening Night

I was skeptical about having bacchanal at National Stadium, but it turned out to be a really nice venue. It felt bigger than the original Mas Camp, but I hear that its actually smaller. But then again, it wasn't jam-packed Just the right amount of crowd.

Only thing that annoyed me was the dirt and dust. If too many people jumping, you'll be swallowed in a cloud of dust. 

They only played Palance once, thank jah. Bambino ah good yute.

Bambino was going good still, until he played Party Rock and We Found Love. If mi waah hear dat, mee'da go Uber! I came to Mas Camp for soca, cut the crap! Otherwise, music did shell (They never played enough of my personal favourites though). DJ Back to Basics came on during the 2nd half of the night. He was okaaaaaay. I just felt like Bambino had more vibes.

There wasnt a lot of hassle at the bar this time. 

Had to wonder if I was at a Hillel party circa 2007 or at mas camp, cause bere pickney did deh deh. As in, some 8th graders and young uns whining up themself before dem guh pick up a book.

VIP was confusing. My friends bought a VIP ticket so we could get priority parking, but at the gate they said we couldnt get the parking unless we had some 'sticker'. We never got a sticker, but we paid the same 2k for the ticket! 

It was a good experience, opening night was fun fun! Waah guh next week so I can propose to Kees ;)
