Masai: How many children do you have?
Cleon: Biologically, legally, or emotionally? Because there is a difference.
After a couple of days of pissing everyone off with photos of what tourism often looks like in the Mara (God forbid we should point the camera in the opposite direction occasionally), I thought I'd post some shots from my time in Irkeepusi; a community of around 7000 Maasai in the lush green rolling hills east of the Ngorongoro Crater. I had a lovely time just hanging out there for a couple of weeks taking photos.

iShowSpeed continues to make waves in Africa.
Here he is in Masai country!
has anyone else considered the parallels between swan and masai because i can’t stop thinking about them
like they both lose their leaders in absolute worst case scenarios (even if cleon survives, up until the end the warriors really do think she’s dead) and are both thrown into leadership positions and are suddenly responsible for keeping everyone together in the wake of a tragedy
swan idolizes cleon in a similar way masai views cyrus (“cleon’s the best of us”) and just like masai loses his way because he doesn’t think he can be like cyrus, i think swan has a similar line of thinking
both of them spend the rest of the album trying desperately to live up to a legacy they don’t think they deserve
