I'm an otome enthusiast with a soft spot for fictional men who ruin my standards....or you can call me, Kristen!😂
You can expect reblogs, screenshots, thirsting, and screaming into the void about the occasional emotional damage I suffer because of these games in this mess of a blog.
Fandoms
Expect to see content and reblogs for:
Voltage — Love 365, Court of Darkness, Ayakashi: Romance Reborn, Samurai Love Ballad Party, Even if Tempest
since Rose in the Embers is having a sale right now, do you have any recommendations on who and what stories to get? never read it before but the art style looks good.
thank you
Hi!
I'm so sorry for the delay in responding. I hope you still see this, but I highly recommend both Kyosuke and Takahisa. Truthfully all of the characters are wonderful, but I personally favor those two in particular.
If you can swing it, all of their main story arcs are worth the read. This is such a beautiful title and the stories are so well written, it's such a shame it wasn't continued. I don't think you would be disappointed. The plots are strong, the cgs are gorgeous, and the characters are very lovable.
You will have to let me know if you take the plunge because I would love to hear your thoughts!
if u can only read one story from love 365 for the rest of ur life, which one would it be? 👀
Do you enjoy watching me suffer? 😂
There are so many comfort stories I have, that are all depending on my mood. My first instinct would be either between Taki's Main Story or Yuzuki's (SITSC) Main Story.
You may have seen me preach about this before, but Yuzuki's story is how I fell into otome hell in the first place. He was my very first otome character and opened up the door to my discovering fandom, Tumblr, discord, etc. I finally found my people who relate and understand a passion of mine that I don't share with anyone in my day-to-day life. I'm grateful for the relationships with those I've formed over the years. Even for the ones who have moved on that I still connect with from time to time, the friendships I've formed are very meaningful to me.
Taki's Main Story also resonates a lot with me. Not only because he became my bias, but the release of his Main Story aligned with when I was going through my own difficult time of divorce. I think that's why selfishly I wish the title would have gone in a different direction because while I know my own experience isn't universal, I'm much much much happier now.
If I was being held over a cliff and had to pick only one, I would say Taki's Main Story for the win.
Thank you for the ask regardless of how challenging it was! What's everyone else's ride or die story? 💞
I wish you would stop promoting those stories that cost 900 coins. Voltage is trying to rip us off and they have been able to get away with it because people are willing to spend. That's how they are able to get away with love choice. I respect you have a right to post how you want. I only wanted to share another perspective considering you are a known name around the world of Voltage and you post a lot of content.
Hey there!
That’s a fair perspective, and I know a lot of people feel that way about the pricing of the vertical stories and Love Choice. For me, I don't have any agenda when it comes to my posting choices. I just like sharing the scenes and characters I enjoy. If others enjoy my posts and they feel inclined to check out a particular story, that's great. The more, the merrier! If it's a title or story model they aren't interested in, that's great as well! Fandom is a hobby and I'm a strong advocate for people having the right to curate how they navigate their consumption and the time they spend.
That being said, I also believe it’s okay for people in the community to engage with Voltage in different ways, and have different thresholds on what is personally acceptable to them or not. For me personally, I'm fortunate enough to be in a situation where I can support the developers by purchasing content for the characters and titles I enjoy and ideally would like to continue seeing content for. That's only my personal belief and it's certainly not one I would expect everyone to adopt.
Don't get me wrong, I am in agreement that the direction Voltage seems to be heading in is quite upsetting and that's why fans have the right to choose how they respond. I think collectively as a fandom we can all agree that we miss the good ole' days.
I do appreciate you sharing your perspective with me. This is an agree to disagree situation for me personally, but please know I understand your frustration because a lot of us feel the same way (myself included).
Hi. I just came back from a long hiatus of gameplay, cause life happened, to find that there are many changes with the voltage games. So I was very upset that the pearls from Samurai Love Ballad Party, I had stashed and was trying to reserve for Epilogues and love interest PoVs for events that I really like and re-runs that I am hoping will happen like Claim Me at Last, and others, are all gone, cause apparently after a year of inactivity it will be deleted. So that's what happened, I wasn't aware of any of that and there was no email to notify. Like I know I don't read the terms and services before signing up for their games, but an email couldn't have hurt right? We did spend real money on this onlynto vanish, and its very expensive.
Sorry for the rant, anyway. I opened Love365 to find contents from SLBP in them, as in the Samurai Love Ballad, not their other title that was similar (older version) for SLB, but the one in the party version fo be there. It says "vertical".
So, I want to ask, what is this vertical and does this mean that SLBP as in the party app will be abandoned soon? Honestly, now I am very anxious about purchasing again since I have spent so much money on their games only for it to be lost TWICE. This also happened with me during the Be My Princess Party which they abandoned. I emailed them sa saying that a warning would've been appreciated before deleting my account but I guess they have no concern for their loyal customers who love their games whatsoever. Honestly, if I didn't just love their stories and characters so much I wouldn't I've spent real money after loosing it once. Im the stupid one for getting attached with fictional characters and trusting Voltage to do better. But what can i do, life happens and these characters have been my source of comfort for years.
Hi there, Nonny.
Firstly, I'm very sorry for the delay in my response, but welcome back from hiatus! 🩷
The deletion after one year of inactivity is such bullshit. I've known about that "rule" and it blows my mind that after investing so much time and money into an account that it can just be wiped is baffling to me. I've seen a lot of fans and/or other blogs leave the Voltage fandom for this reason because they haven't wanted to start over and sadly I can't say I blame them either. I do agree that it's unfortunate there's not any sort of communication similar to what you would receive if you were cancelling a subscription when you are coming up on that one year date either.
Please bear in mind this is only my own speculation and there isn't anything official that's been announced or that I've read so take this with a grain of salt, but I think eventually L365 is going to house all of the standalone party apps and operate as a true library app. The reason I believe that is because the vertical stories are the same stories that you can find on the standalone apps. SLBP is being added (they are also a lot longer than the traditional main stories you would find in L365). Princess in the Mirror, some of KBTBB has been added, and it looks like they are also going to start including MFW. I anticipate we will start to see some of the other titles from the party apps as well.
Also, please try not to feel bad. You're never stupid for investing in a hobby that's meaningful and important to you. I share a very similar mentality that if I didn't love the characters and wasn't as invested as I already am, I would be hesitant to support some of the Voltage titles. I try to adopt the mentality that right now in this given moment I'm able to support the titles and characters that bring me joy. These hobbies have allowed me to find friends that I can actually connect and relate with, as well as foster a creative outlet I never thought was possible for me.
Be kind to yourself, and just know I'm always a DM away on Tumblr or discord if you would ever like to talk. 💞

Hello!
I included your ask with the one above, because that's what my speculation is with the app. When you combine that with the lack of any investment into the user interface of the L365 app, it seems Voltage is prioritizing on how to barely main accessibility versus attempting to implement any meaningful enhancements.
What are your thoughts? I would love to hear them.
