The salon at Mas Bernard in Saint-Paul-de-Vence as it appeared when photographed in 2006 for AD France. The son of Marguerite and Aimé Maeght, Adrien, now occupies the storied family residence. The artwork over the sofa is by Joan Miró, and the collection of paintings on the adjacent wall are by Gérard Gasiorowski. The art filled salon at Mas Bernard in Saint-Paul-de-Vence on the Côte d'Azur was home to the late art dealer, lithographer, publisher and collector Aimé Maeght and his wife Marguerite, who founded their eponymous foundation nearby in 1950. The salon, photographed by Serge Korniloff for the New York Times publication Living Well, was released the same year Aimé Maeght passed, in 1981. The bronze ceiling fixture is one of only three designed by Diego Giacometti (another is going to auction with Sotheby's the 28th of February).
