About last Friday...😍😭😍 The day started out rough AF, there's an issue I had recently been experiencing that had affected me so much to the point where I have a bald spot in the back of my head from losing so much hair from stress. 🧘🏽 The day progressed, I got to hear about some folks whom I mentored getting jobs, opportunities, reviewed some phenomenon projects and I just kept remembering to breathe. 🧘🏽 I was grateful to be around family @ambermomedia and great friend Aimee and it helped me to stay present and focused on my heart. ❤️ The day progressed and my beloved @lvbze asked me to dress nice for dinner...really? Like "I'm goin' thru some THANGS woman! But fine, I'll wear a nice top, but I'm rockin' flops n yoga pants PLUS it's that time of the month so..." 😭🥵🔴 🤣 She had me and my sis close our eyes and walk outside for "dinner" (she didn't she was in on it!) Little did I know that she was going to surprise me with her proposal 😭 I had already been in and out of crying all day, what's a couple more tears right? 😭😭😭😭 I was a hilarious mess y'all. #mascaramadness ❤️ I've spent this week reflecting on this wild dynamic chain of events to relish the tender moments, learn the lessons and maintain perspective. It is crazy to know that when we started dating, same-sex marriage wasn't legal yet until 3 years later on June 26, 2015 🏳️🌈...it's been a long journey, we've had our ups and downs, we've grown stronger personally and professionally, we are some jovial ass mofos since our personal hardships have taught us that life is short AF, we've only had 1 argument since quarantine started and enjoy making each other laugh with our own lingo + queerdo quirks all day everyday. ❤️ Many folks have been sayin' "Dang! It's about time" but actually it was the perfect time. My heart was such a mess earlier that day, massive hair loss...I can only imagine how my partner must've been feeling...like uhhh 🤔🥺😬🤐😳🤯 do I even pop the question to this lady? And if now now then when?
